 Making My Own Driftwood, red mulberry, new driftwood project

I am attempting to make my own driftwood.
Why? Have you seen the prices of that stuff?
and this piece looks magnificent.
I will soak this piece until it becomes waterlogged in the 10 gallon conatiner in the sun. I figure it will take about 2-3 months of soak time.

It has to soak to get rid of the tannins and yucky stuff.
