Well I came home today to find rabbits or more likely a single rabbit had eaten through the garden. Totally destroyed 3 of the 4 squash plants, and one of the watermellon plants, and one of the cantalope plants, and chewed the top off of one of the pepper plants (it was the cheyanne pepper plant, I can only hope the stem was as hot as the peppers). I was ticked to say the least. For a few minutes, I very seriously thought about putting out my grand-dad's old leg-hold and condabear traps to trap and kill the rabbit. Of course that's not really an option since our neighborhood does have young kids and cats, and one dog, and because as mad as it made me, I don't think I would kill it just for that. So I went to the store and bought some rabbit and deer repellant for an arm and a leg and sprayed down the whole garden. I just can't believe that all that hard work could nearly be wiped out in a single day by one rabbit... ugh! At least I still have one squash plant, 3 watermellons, some more cantalope are comming up, and he left the other pepper plant, strawberries, carrots, sugar-snap peas, potatoes, and tomatos alone. Although those potatoes grow so fast, it might have eaten some of them and I wouldn't even notice... they are growing at about 2" per day.
It just dawned on me what happened... the Easter Bunny ATE MY VEGETABLE GARDEN!!
I knew that rabbit was evil.
Hahahaha. Did he left some eggs as a present or exchange :D  hahahaha
no he didn't, but that's ok, he's about to bring me some stew, some RABBIT stew. :D
I was thinking maybe he was thoughtful enough to leave some for you, but then I realized he only left it for another day of feasting. cwazy wabbit!
