Well, For more experience I took over a 200 Gallon Marine tank, Believe me I count screw this tank up more then it was so I felt comfortble seen what I could do with it. I got the algea and dead fish out (tanks been shut off for a year and I found dead fish and skeletons YUCK!) I got some nice little starter fish and they are all doing really well, The consist of 1 lion fish (awsome) 1 hawiian Wrasse 1 Blue tang 1 California Blue Spot ray and 1 Saddle back Clown fish (my tomato was driving it nuts so I Put it in the restraunt.)
How do you feed a lionfish that insists on hiding?>

Could always target feed with a turkey baster. It's what I'm having to do with my goby. He comes out enough so that I can see him, but he won't venture out to get the food. I'm going to have to blast it into his cave so I know he's eating. Same goes for my pistol shrimp. Just be careful not to get stung. Do tell more about how you got the job taking care of a restaraunts tank. Sounds like you are really doing well.

place was closed for a year and the owner was moving out of country and we had a meeting there and I found out that they were trying to re-open the place and they were getting charged 3,000 to get the tank up and runnin, I chaged 251.40 for the fish and chemicals. It's going well, Temp 80.0 Steady gravity is 1.023 tank is cycling tho so the other levels are a little up but other then that its going and I got a signed paper saying if the place closes I get the tank filter stand and the works,

Sweet Deal! Now you just have to start a rumor about hepititis... lol, just kidding.
So how do feed him? VERY CAREFULLY! Actually, in my opinion, when they get hungry enough, they will eat, and may scavenge at night when they feel safer.

this poor fella just keeps hiding, I feel bad for it but there's nothing I can do. There's a fish in there that keeps bugging me though, the Hawiian Wrasse keeps burying itself and making it look like it died. I go in there with the net ans the thing shoots from the sand and I swear the thing keeps giving me a dirty look

LOL. Hepititis. Nice SM. Sweet deal though. You'll have to post some pics and let us know how things are going. Good job on getting the contract so you could keep the tank!

Fun story actually, I bought 2 peppermint shrimp for 11.99, I got them home and they lived 30 secconds there. Now I diddnt kill them or anything. It seems my lunar Wrasse likes shrimp of all sorts. so no I am out 22.99 w/o tax . I am a little peeved at that but oh well.
