I just wanted to know how you guys felt about raising cichlids. How hard or how easy it is. From fry to full grown. From cons to Fronts I think everyone would like to know.

doesn't look like a ? you have them.
I started out a long time ago, when i walked to school in bare feet...
JK, My hardest as a beginner was the oscar. I then made the change to the JD and pirahna. Ex has them now, but still very much alive and they were raised from LFS about, half inch at the biggest.
I now own a very nice aquaria home, and a very good tank cleaning mate, ( my hubby not the pic).
He (my hubby, Mongo) loves his Rocky!!!!

Which one's mongo and which one's rocky? :D
I own a pair of African's, and they are a piece of cake. I would say they have been every bit as easy as guppies, with the exception that I put in aragonite substrate to keep the pH and hardness where they like that. Other than that, they are all too easy.

I think that south american and central americans are the easiest cichlid to rasie. Since I've been having mines for 2 years now.

All super easy in my experience. They are very active, eat almost anything, and are very resistant to disease. The perfect beginner fish (That has a cycled tank.).

Yeah South and Central American Cichlids are definately easy to grow! My oscar grew very quickly. :)

Never knew what a cycled tank was and still don't. Cichlids are so managible. They require nothing less than food.
 That is why they are said to be the intermediate fish.
It is so funny, to me.
goldfish are the hardest!!!!!!! :D
