Title: Stocking an 80gal

Leema - April 5, 2006 11:46 AM (GMT)
I'm looking on ideas on how to stock my 80gal, or even if it's already stocked... :P Here's the list at the moment:

2 brisltenose catfish
2 clown loaches
1 (false) siamese algae eaters
9 harelquin rasboras
8 blue rams

Tomorrow:
3 gold rams :D :D

Further on:
10ish ember tetras
2 siamese algae eaters (more)
2 clown loaches (more... maybe!)

Do you reckon it'd be stocked after that? I'll get rid of the loaches/get a bigger tank eventually. I know. ;) Also, once I get two blue ram pairs, I may get rid of the others. (That's what I wanted to start off with, but I ended up getting 4 boys the first shot.)

One of the main fish I'd like in my 80 gal are either sterbai cories or upside downs...

So whatcha think, guys?

Well stocked now or with my future fish, too?

Its always better to have less than more as you have the top and bottom pretty much well covered, the rams will hang around the middle and the bottom. skip the extra loaches I think the bottom is what you have to watch out for other than that you will be fine.

Thanks for your input CC. ^_^

It looks very empty right now. The rasboras and rams school together - they never really spread out.

Hopefully, with the embers though, the space will be filled. :)

I think just one neon tetra would be perfect. :D
