Hi All! :computer:

I am fairly new to fishkeeping, but am an avid researcher.
I have logged a lot of hours reading all I can get my hands
on after losing $150. worth of fish in the first week. :o
(What do you mean, it has to CYCLE?)
I now have 4 Tanks, (after giving one to a friend)
Two 55 gallon tanks, and two 10 gallon tanks.

Tank 1: Daughters ten gallon Guppy tank.
Anybody want any guppies?
Started with four, and has grown by factors of 10.

Tank 2: Shrimp and snails. Raising these for friends and maybe
to sell back to the LFS. (They won't keep shrimp...have
to buy 400 to make money.)

Tank 3: 55 Gal. in Dining room. Nothing live, except bacteria
and fish. Plastic Plants, Plastic wood. All rocks are real however.

1 - Common Pleco 11 inches. Plays tag with daughter.
1 - Red Tail Shark - Mean!
3 - CAEs - Big, Fat, and Sassy.
1 - Albino CAE - Sweet as can be.
4 - Tiger Barbs - Only ones to make it through the cycle.
2 - Mossy Green Tiger Barbs.
4 - Long finned Rosy Barbs.
7 - Long Finned Rosy Barb Fry. (Surprise
1 - Paradise Gourami - Protected Fry from tigers.

Tank 4: 55 Gal. in Office. Nothing Fake. Live Plants, Real Wood.

1 - Common Pleco I love these things, Never have to clean glass.
1 - Neon Tetra. Out of 20 placed in tank. LFS has bad water.
6 - Zebra Danios. Active all the time.
4 - Headlight Tetras.
2 - CAEs. I don't Like to clean glass!
1 - Albino CAE. Sweet Fish, Lack of color must remove aggression.
1 - Red Tail Shark. - As mean as the other one.
8 - Swordtail in various stages. 3 generations.
1 - Black Molly fry 3/8 inch. Came free in plant bag from LPS.
2 - YOYO Loaches. No more pond snails.

All water parameters in all tanks are well within safe limits.

As soon as I figure out how to post pictures, I will.
This is a great looking site.

Welcome to the forum! That is really a nice looking tank there. I'm impressed. Did you paint the back of the tank black, or is it one of those background papers, or is it just in front of a dark wall?

PS - that stinks losing that many fish all at once.

Tank is painted. masked off areas with that self-sealing plastic wrap.

And yeah, had to read fast and hard to save the rest.
