During Football Season....

I buy these little glass mugs in the grocery for .50 cents. I collect football stuff anyway so I thought it would be cute to let my fish and snails enjoy the season with me.
No team is favored in this set up!!

Lol that is cool that would be a good idea for a shelldwellers tank. :)

Very cute! :P What kind of fish do you keep in there?

Guppies, and snails. The snails love it! :D

I made some alien looking plants, and turned some large trumpet snail shells upright. The substrate color is just some silk leaves all sewn together with big gaps for the gravel to show and hold it down. This gives the baby snails room to roam freely. Marvins UFO, is made from a plastic red lei (sp), the extra part of my mic stand (silver disk, for standing on the desk), some styrofoam. And some Red saltwater fishing line. The background, is a painting I made on a baby blanket. I love how it turned out.

I think it looks cool but the last couple of times I changed my dempsey tank around the tenants disagreed and redecorated. I try not change to much at one time now it seems to stress them alot.

Wow, those are some massive snails! What kind are they, apple snails?

How big is the tank?

It is a ten gallon tank and 2 of the snails are canas, and the other a brigs., Though lately my brown cana (buck) has been floating alot. I am a bit worried but I know they do this for days sometimes.

The orange cana is almost as big as a golfball now, ol' blue brigs is a bit smaller than that, and brown cana (buck) is in between. I got them all when they were as big as a nickel.
