Welcome to Aquatopia.
We all are interested in hearing about what fish you keep or what fish you are interested in keeping. What I guess I am trying to say is tell us all about your fish. If you want to post any pictures of your fish and tanks we would all love to see and if you need any help with your fish there are many people ready to try to and fix your problem. Also feel welcome to help others if you can.
Also if you wish to keep to yourself while using this forum this is completely acceptable however we here at Aquatopia would still like to welcome you to our site and say hey.
If you have any questions about the site you can read my post on the basics of forum usage which is pinned on the introductions page. Also feel free to contact me or any other moderators and admin using the PM option. I am also available a lot of the time on MSN and YIM.

Thanks everyone, my modem broke down so i havent been on the internet for a couple of days. Seems like a nice forum, i look foward to posting.
I currently have a amazon style biotope tank of 68 litres (all fish from south america but plants are mostly african and asian) Stocked with Glowlight tetras, Neon tetras, a big ancistrus, 3 corydoras anaeus, a pair of cockatoo cichlids and 3 otocinclus cats.
I plan to fix an old 55 gallon up around october which i will turn into a larger amazon biotope with indigenous plants.

Welcome to the forum Jose. :)

Welcome, that sounds pretty cool. Do you have any pics of the 28L? I have an african bio-type 10g, but an Amazon bio-type definately sounds better.

Welcome, Jose! I'm new here also! (Well, fairly new.)
And woe is me, I have nought but a small tank and a couple of goldfish...and am only hungry for knowledge.
Anyways, seems like I'm the only around here that has no former experience.
MAZZA_402 - March 25, 2006 12:34 AM (GMT)
We all have to start somewhere, Silverdapple. =)
You're at the right place to get that wonderful bit of 'knowledge' though. You only get better though, so that's something you can be happy about.
Be careful though, like many of us here who have mts (Multiple Tank Syndrome), it crept up on us so quick we couldn't even react! That 10 gallon turned into 5 tanks around the house, and that's just a mild case. Haha!

Welcome Jose! I hope you will post pictures of your Amazon tank.
CatLover - April 5, 2006 02:01 AM (GMT)
I'm a sufferer of mts, too.
:P
Sergeant Major - April 5, 2006 05:27 AM (GMT)
We should hold regular mts anonymous meetings...
"Hi, my name is Sgt Maj, and I'm here because I was caught tapping into my neighbors water line to get more water for my water changes, you see, the city cut me off after 100,000 gallons per week... and... I am an mts victim"
Crowd: "Hi, Sgt Maj!"
:D
GuppyBabe - April 7, 2006 02:16 AM (GMT)

Eznet2u - April 8, 2006 05:07 AM (GMT)

There are donuts and coffee in the back, grab a seat and
we'll start the meeting  :P :D
