I turned a filter on with my hand in the tank and somehow it zapped me. :blink: Didn't get the fish... It wasn't a bad shock - I've had worse shocks from those electric games. :P
(I'm still somewhat baffled how I actually managed to have one hand in the tank while I plugged it in... Flexible. B) )

Wow! We definately don't ever need to become electricians around here... I've been hit by all of the following, listed from worst shock to least shock:
:star: 220v 40amp this one stopped my heart for a few moments.
:star: Unknown voltage/amperage from a lightning strike just outside while I was connected to ground via conduit.
:star: 110v 14amp countless number of times.
I'm pretty sure if we opened an electrician business around here, that NO ONE would be willing to insure us. :lol:

Ok, I have to add another one... one of the two 100w bulbs I have on my baby chicks burnt out, so I went to change it... bulb just burst in my hand... wires got me, put a little burn in my palm... course it was all the broken glass that scared me.

Lets be honest here. We all like a laugh now and then, but i dont think anyone of us like to get electrocuted! :music:

Well honestly, I was more scared of cutting my hand to pieces than of the little burn I got... that just doesn't happen, and it's all really sharp glass. That's not to say I liked being shocked... just that it was no worse than when I was wiring in a ceiling fan with the power on a few years ago.
