Title: What do you feed your fish?
Description: Plus Feeding Live Fish Poll

I'm feeding mine Prime Reef flake right now. It's supposed to have quite a bit of nutrition in it for all types of fish. I am having a little bit of trouble finding cichlid only flake though. With so many different times of cichlids in my tank, what's the best way to go about feeding them?
My venustus / livingstonii cichlid looks to be practicing his hunting skills, so I'm thinking of looking for some type of feeder fish. Not necessarily from the feeder tank, but perhaps spend a little more on a healthy snack. Of couse they would be quarantined for awhile to make sure they were ok.
I was thinking of putting a few guppies in a 10 gallon and letting them breed, but can they survive and breed in 8.3 water? Also, are 'rosy reds' good treats for cichlids?
What's the best option here? I'd love to feed them live fish, but I only want the best. I'm limited to a 10 gallon though.

Right now i'm feeding Tetra cichlid flakes and sticks, wardley spectra max flakes and pellets as well as wardley cichlid crumple, freeze dried krill and plankton. NLS pellets and algae waffer.

Haha I think I'll have to print that off. Should I just use the Tetra Cichlid Flake and Sticks? I have some wardley shrimp pellets, but my fish don't seem to like them. Does it provide good, all around nutrition?
What's your opinion on live fish?

Hikari Gold is the absolute best "commonly available" cichlid staple available.
As for feeders...Breed Convicts. They are more prolific than most livebearers and are more nutritious.
