Thought I'd get the ball rolling... what type of coldwater fish do you keep?
I've got a ranchu who's got 'good osabi' and is about 3 years old - although bought from pet shop so wouldn't like to commit to that.
Also waiting on a Ramshorn snail to joig him, purchased from Ebay a couple of days ago.

Growing up we kept feeder goldfish in our pond. The pond was probably only about 500g and we kept probably about 10-15 feeder goldfish in there.

TD, I looked up Ranchu on Google, not realizing it was a breed of Goldfish. I found two different colorations. One is a gold color and the other looks like a Goldfish with Koi coloring. How cool!

Ranchu is also known as a lionhead fish. It has no dorsal fin.
Top fish is the Ranchu and the bottom is a Red Cap Oranda: Bobble and Bubble respectively :D

I got my first goldies the other day! 3 fantails, 11-14 white cloud minnows, 2 danios. I'm going to put some hillstream loaches in there as a bit of experiment... Wish me luck! :P
