Title: 'Ey there!
Silverdapple - March 13, 2006 03:57 AM (GMT)
I used to have a nice little goldfish...
(Actually, he wasn't so little after the first year),
his name was Patrick. We've had several fish, but none quite like him.
Although you couldn't say I am a fish fanatic, I do find something interesting in fish...something you can't see in other animals.
Of course, if you know anything about horses, then you will know that I like that particular animal very much...(My name.)
Anywho, I ramble. This is a nice little forum...maybe I'll learn something.
Pleased to make your acquaintence,
Silverdapple (Some may know as Book Worm)

Glad to see that you like our forum! Welcome to AquaTopiaForum.com! Do you have any horses of your own?
There's certainly a lot to learn about fish. They are extremely interesting creatures. It's amazing how quickly that you can get 'drawn in'. All-in-all, it's a great hobby to have.
Hope you enjoy our forums!

I have no horses of my own, but I do take lessons every week.
I look forward to learning very much about fish. I will never stop learning about different topics; I always want to learn more. Well...I guess I'd better start reading...I'll need to get in with the fish "lingo."

To help you out, we have a post, which would be pinned, called Aquarist Jargon in the freshwater and saltwater 101 sections. It breaks down abbreviations to let you know what they mean. Strangely enough, I rarely ever see anyone using abbreviations on this forum.
Silverdapple - March 13, 2006 04:29 AM (GMT)
I'll take a look at that.
Hey, you do know what that means, right? No abbreviations means smarter people! (Joking)

... huh? What about not abbreviating? ...
Welcome to the forum, glad to have you here. I think with every animal there is a lot to learn about them.
Silverdapple - March 13, 2006 04:52 AM (GMT)
That was only a joke about abbreviating.
Anyway, thank you all very much and I have to agree that animals are very interesting, every one of them.

I think what I find so interesting about fish is that it is like you are taking a small part of a completely different habitat and containing it in a glass box in your own home. Very impressive in my opinion.
