im pretty sure it came from the LFs but ive turend up the heater to about 86 or 87 and ive added 1 cup of salt ill add the second tomarrow since your suposed to ad 1.5 to 2 teaspoons of salt per gallon and 110 teaspoons comes out to 2.2 cups
i just didnt want to stress the fish more by adding it all at once

That dose sounds kind of high jadefoodog. A typical medicinal dose for salt is one tablespoon per 5 gallons/40 litres (per 10gal if housing scaleless fish). Not sure how many teaspoons are in a tablespoon but if you add 2 teaspoons per gallon that's going to be 10 teaspoons rather then one tablespoon which is heaps.

thats the most common and renouned method. theres 3 teaspoons in a tablespoon i think
anyhow im not making this stuff up its from an artical on aquaria central that everyone on there recomends

I dont think you have to turn the heater up that high, 82 degrees will do.

Fair enough, wasn't saying you were making it up or anything just letting you know.

As far as I'm aware 1 liquid Tablespoon = 20ml
and 1 liquid Teaspoon = 5ml
and it takes 4 x 5ml to make 20ml
