<br><b>Breeding:</b> Only fully grown fish will breed. Keep in tank with only one pair while breeding, tank size should be 10g per inch of fish while breeding, as water quality changes (however slight) will deter breeding. Nitrates should be less than 2ppm.

Sensitive to nitrates, good water conditions are necessary. It prefers a current in the aquarium. It can be kept as a schooling fish or in a tank with other Synodontis species. The Synodontis Eupterus Catfish may also be maintained with most African cichlids of similar size.
