  • Blue Jays are actually black, the sunlight refracts onto its feathers! Same thing
    for Indigo Buntings.
  • An Andean Condor may live to at least 70 years!
  • American Kestrels can see urine trails of mice!
  • There are 9,703 species!
  • Painted Snipe, Phalaropes, and Button Quails are examples of females that are brighter than males!

March 4.
  • Hawaiian Crows and Spix's Macaws are extinct in the wild.
  • Bald Eagle is comming off the endangered species list.
  • Peregrine Falcons can reach speeds up to 200+ mph in a dive.
  • White-Throated Needletails are the world's fastest at 112 mph when flying.
