Hiya all,
Im a member of UB, saw the link below of the forum, and thought I would drop by. Found out you guys got part of the forum for ponds, so guess I would be staying :D
For all that dont know me...Im Stephen aka Forever-Mango or Mango. I've been keeping for well over 20years. I've been keeping since when I was a baby ^_^ Ive got experience with Cichlids, Goldfish, Koi, Livebreeders, Bettas, Marines, Catfish and Plants.
Currently Im setting up my Show Koi pond (appox 10,000Ltr), and just concentrating on Koi. I also got some plecos, discus and an Arowana in a 4x2X2. I have already sold most of my fish, and staying with Koi for a long time. I dont think I will ever switch back to anything. Im in the Australian Koi Association and Im a dedicated Koi keeper who wishes to breed koi to be Grand Champions.
A little about me now. Im currently a Web Development Student and is Sub-contracted with a company to do Web Design work for them. Good experience and good pay which would be going towards my Koi hobby.
Looking forward to share my experience with other members.

Welcome aboard Mango! You will have to post some pics of your Koi, and explain what it takes for Koi to be grand champions.
I love Koi, and was thinking about making a small pond for some, unfortuneately it would be too small to keep full-grown Koi in, so I would have to sell them as they grew.

Welcome to the forum! Cool to know that you are a Koi lover! Good luck on having one of your Koi become grand champion. It really seems like you are dedicated to your Koi. Look forward to seeing you on the pond forums!
Be sure to post some pics. If your interested, you could always do a step by step pond buildup. I'm thinking about starting one in the next year or two. Would be interesting to see how it's all done.

Someday, I hope to build a really large pond so that I can have koi. But, I'm nowhere near having a place for it or the funding. Maybe someday . . .
