This happened a couple of days ago and I was able to take some flix of it.
He didn't make the cut. check out how he lost his color. BTW he is healing nicely.

Wow he got beat up pretty bad. Are they both males? And kool pix. Hope he heals soon.

The one that got beat up was the male. I guess this time it didn't work out because last time they mated there was like 200 eggs and everything was fine.

Sorry to inform that the male jewl is no longer with us. That make 2 of my 7 year old fish that past away. I guess he couldn't handle the beating. :( My son is taking it hard. He is 5.

I initially started with 8 and got 3 pairs after a year or so.

Im sorry to hear that it's dead. 7 years is very long and it is going to be hard to deal with. Try to get another pair :D :up: Maybe the one next time won't have to fight so much.
