Title: Howdy

FishyFry - February 11, 2006 04:38 PM (GMT)
I received a link to this site as a PM on another site where I spend time, so I thought I would check it out. I live in SE Michigan and have several tanks. All are planted freshwater tanks and range from 1 gallon to 30 gallons. I keep a variety of egglayers and livebearers, but I also have a Firemouth and a Convict Cichlid, an ADF and a Featherfin Catfish.

Hello fishyfry!

Welcome to the forum! :D

Hello, Welcome to the Forum

FishyFry - February 11, 2006 08:26 PM (GMT)
Thank you.

CatLover, I read your intro and would like to hear more about your water testing routines. Perhaps you could start a new thread in one of the regular forums.

Polaris, your Black Knife sounds like a real prize. Would you consider posting a short .avi?

CatLover - February 11, 2006 10:51 PM (GMT)
I posted my thoughts and opinions on testing from research and observations under the freshwater thing.

I got a little lengthy, but I ended up putting a few nerdy interesting things I have read about and some personal experiences and examples.

I welcome any disagreements or questions or comments anyone wants to post on that thread.

I would like to hear about other people's methods so I can learn and improve my methods.

:D

Welcome FishyFry. We are not too far apart- I live in northcentral Ohio. I am interested in livebearers too. Once this 75g is up and cycled I will need lots of advice on what fish to choose.

FishyFry - February 15, 2006 10:52 PM (GMT)
Thank you. 75G! woo hoo! Don't forget to post pics!

This is more of a one on one site.
Gonna see if I can't get some new members for this site though!

bartier - March 8, 2006 05:22 AM (GMT)

Naw, I don't think so. Might've been unappreciated if it was an actual post instead of a PM.

bartier - March 10, 2006 09:12 AM (GMT)
I remember one person took offence came on here and made an account with a "vulgar" name I guess you would say and posted an aggressive post.

FishyFry - March 11, 2006 02:28 AM (GMT)
ah. Tsk. Bad manners on their part then, I would say... that is to post instead of send a PM to the Admin. <_<
