Hey all :) ,
I'm from QLD Australia and keep prodominantly New World cichlids (oscar, texas, convict, FM, acara etc.) with the exception of pleco's, a FH, kribensis and some betta's. I found my way here through an invitation given to me in a message on a mates forum (you should be careful doing that guy's ;)) but looks like an interesting forum and you have set it up nicely :) ..Anyway, nice to meet you all and may the fish be with you B).

Thanks, it's a 5 foot (300litre/about 80gal).

I don't know how I missed welcoming you for so long, but belated WELCOME.
Since you're the oscar guy here, how many oscars do you think I could fit in a 150g tank? Not sure what kind of filtration I'll have, probably 10g trickle through a polyester batting.
