How big are black pepper cories?

I have a couple of peppered cories in my 29
1 is full grown (I'd estimate 2 .25 inches)
1 I've had it for a very long time, but it never grew- it was given to me at about 1.25 inches . The fins on its sides (there's probably some technical name for them that I should know!) anyway, they are turned kind of under instead of straight out. I wonder if it was some kind of mutation from living in whatever his/her previous conditions were

black peppers are regular peppers .

you put them on a black substrate like my black sand and they turn almost completely black . thats the reason i said you would probably never find them in a store.

ive heard from 1.75 to 4 inches theres no concluseive data other than the fact i have onts thats almost 2 inchs the rest are barely over an inch. they are all under a year old though.

i dunno about the conditions heres some pics of mine though

Pretty neat about the cories. Good picture.

I'd add a picture of mine for comparison, but I can't figure out how to get it on here. Anybody know?

The pictures are on one of those little cards like you put in your digital camera.
