:star: Aquatopia can now accept donations through paypal. All donations will go back into site development in the form of ad removal, domain name registration, AquaToken give aways, etc. You can donate by clicking the donate button at the top left of the forum.
:star: Voting for Aquatopia on some of the various fish forum ranking sites has become easier. Simply click each of the links in the upper left corner of the forum to vote.
:star: Since our domain name is www.AquaTopiaForum.com, we thought it would be appropriate to change the top banner to reflect that and make it easier to remember. So we changed the logo banner to from AquaTopia.com to AquaTopiaForum.com
:star: Links are now being added to the news section to new articles for faster, easier navigation of the site.
:star: New Article: Freshwater Substrate Choices
:star: From our poll results, it has come to our attention that there is a lot of confusion about what the fish fact sheets are designed for. These Sheets are not an everything you will ever need to know to own one article. They are simply a fast reference tool, coupled with a picture so that people who arn't sure if that's what they have or not can find out. We decided to put them up as a means to deter the biggest problem with fish forums... misinformation. They are not meant to replace more in-depth articles about the same fish. Because of this confusion, you can look for some coming changes (possibly a new sub-forum for the articles).
:star: In case anyone was wondering, YES, a lot of the information, and all of the pictures on the fish fact pages was copied (with permission) from live aquaria (hence the link at the bottom of each of them). We have cross-referenced much of the information with at least one other source, and added a little bit more information, such as typical lifespan. We have found that not all of their facts were entirely accurate on more than one fish though, so we've launched a new AquaToken campaign. If you find an error in the fish facts sheets, or can fill in missing information, send a pm to Sergeant Major listing the incorrect or missing facts, and you will be awarded 5 tokens if we can verify your information. We are going to backdate this new AquaToken give-away to cover those of you who have already found errors.
:star: Forums renamed: Fish Talk! has become Tank Talk in the fresh and saltwater sections, and Pond Talk in the pond section, and Fish Facts has become Fast Facts.
