Last weekend my dad and I decided to go fishing at the lake. The weather was nice and the fish were biting very well. The main species we were after was Carp, which the lake has a high population of. However we were happy to catch other fish including Suckers, Perch, and Sunfish. Our rig was very simple, consisting of single split shot, #4-6 size hook, and half a nightcrawler.
Here are some pictures that we took:

Largest Carp we caught, maybe around 10 pounds, I'm not real good at estimating weight without a scale.

Carp may not be the most beautiful looking fish but they get large and fight hard, even the smaller ones. They are one of my favorite fish to catch.
All in all we had a great time fishing and will go again real soon. :)
