Hi erin, it's good to have you here! What kind of betta is it? I've thought about adding a crowntail betta to my collection.

I've always heard that for bettas, their favorite thing to do is to watch you. I'm not sure how accurate that is, as I havn't ever owned a betta. Do you have yours in a tank with lots of hiding places for him to hide from the camera?

No, right now he's just in one of those starter tanks...I live in a dorm room, so there's really not much space for anything bigger. Maybe after I save up some money I can get him a bigger tank :)
I just looked at the Betta topic on here...Ace is a Betta Splenden :)

There's really nothing wrong with those tanks for bettas. They are really an easy fish to set up for when compared to others.

My female betta likes to watch me while I am taking pictures of the tank. She'll come right up to the front glass, watch me 'til she gets bored, and then go back to her hiding places. Pretty funny to watch.
