I'll let you into a secret and spoil all my street cred! The biggest koi is only between 4 and 5lb's in weight. It's my pride and joy though and very healthy.

How large do they get?

Hard question to answer that but I think in perfect conditions about 50lb in weight, which is some fish! B) A lot depends on the size of the pond to. The larger the pond, the larger the adult Koi will ultimately end up.

Very nice, the one on the far left is VERY beautiful.

4 to 5 lbs is still pretty big. Most people only have 2 pounders or less, unless they are seious hobbyists, or just plain lucky.
