This is a silly question, but why don't you see live muscles, clams, and barnacles for sale for sw tanks? Also, why are all the small eels fw only? Why arn't there any small eels for those of us who don't have 300+ gallon tanks?

I'm not sure what kind of Clams you are talking about but you can purchase Clams to keep in saltwater aquariums such as the Crocea, Maximan abd Derasa. They are very colorful but get very large. As for Barnacles and Muscles I guess they probably wouldn't do too well in captivity and don't look that great. There are smaller species of saltwater Eels that can be kept in medium sized tanks. A Snowflake Eels can be kept in a 55-75g tank for its whole life. I was going to keep one in my 55g FOWLR tank but decided to go a different route.

hmm, I think barnacles look great, especially as they filter the water... but I guess feather duster's are fancier... and by clams I was thinking like the kind you might eat, or even oysters. Though it's not that difficult to buy live oysters... but I'm not sure they would do so well in such a warm environment. By small eels, I was thinking more along the lines of no larger than about 4-5 inches in length.
