Don't get me wrong, I like our current banner, it's better than anything we've ever had in the past, but just for a change, should we change our banner?

I like it too, but maybe it's time for a fresh look. The best about the current banner is the representation of the forums all at once and most importantly, the "aqua" (water) and "topia" (harmony) aspects of the site name.

I voted yes to a new banner. I agree with both of you that although the banner we have right now is great we should have a new one.

Maybe if we keep the theme, which is a good one, but just change the elements... different fish and plants, for example.

I agree. A fresh look certainly wouldn't be a bad thing.

Well, the overwhelming response is YES! So it shall be done... but since NO ONE is offering their talents in the photo album forum with the banner change thread... we might just have to employ a professional graphic designer.

Just something different... with the aquatopiaforum.com spelled right. I really didn't have anything in mind, just something different (and referrably spelled without an s after forum).

All the photos are from our Photo of the Month collections, with the exception of the pond (it's a free photo though). Seems all of ForeverMango's photos have been moved.

To me, this design looks like it came with the forum itself. I have to tell ya though, I still like the old one better. This is only one sample. All comments welcome.

Here is sample 2... same design, different color scheme for the title area.

Third sample of this particular design has another color in the title area... not so bright white, but not as dark as the first one.

ok, final sample for this particular design. I will wait for feedback before making changes or beginning work on another design. The background in the title area is from our Photo Gallery.

Wow, those are incredible! Very nice... I like the first, third, and fourth ones best... I know that doesn't narrow it down much... but they are all so good... ok, if I HAVE to pick... #3 get's my vote.

I notice that you included many of my own pictures, which is very nice of you. Yeah I saw the Blue Mushroom as well as my Betta, Sandsifting Goby, and a full tank shot of my 55g. :)

I still had a few of everyone's pics that I had planned to use, but the title area would have been too small. :(

Good work :) I didn't bother looking at first because I didn't think I would have a picture good enough for the banner.

The most important thing was that the photos were from members. Just wished they'd all fit! There were many good ones! The remaining were a height problem I could not get past. Specifically, these were the photos where the fish was top to bottom, rather than left to right. The Koi's are a good example. I had nearly all of them collected, but had to leave those eight out. :(
