Hey there. I went to the petstore yesterday to go buy a BUBBLE TIP ANEMONE!!!! I was still looking around when I told the staff to go grab me a bubble tip anemone. After he grabbed me the anemone I went to pay for it, Was about 60 bucks. After i got home, look at it for awhile and found out it wasnt a BTA! :o Seems like a sebae anemone to me. I did some research and found out they need HIGH lighting which i dont have. I only have enough lighting for a BTA!. I'm still trying to get a hold of the owner to see if i can go exchange it for a BTA. Somehow if i can't change it what should i do? I don't want a 60 bucks anemone to go to waste! It is in a 29 gallon with 130 watts of PC! HELP ASAP!

Your only real option you have is to return the Anemone to the store where you purchased it. Sebae Anemones are very difficult to care for and as you said they do require high lighting in the form of metal halide. They also get huge and would are too large when full grown for a 29g tank.
There is a big difference in appearance between the two Anemones so it is definitely the persons fault for choosing the wrong Anemone. Be sure to tell the owner that it is the employees fault.
Good luck with returning the Sebae and keep us updated. :)

Ok, I have returned the sebae and got a bubble anemone. It is really small, about 2 inches when fully opened. 60 bucks, thats alot. But o well. They only have medium and large so its better getting it free, and it was the only one left!

Well, The anemone seems like a sick one. I'm calling to ask if they will take it back and trade for some corals instead.

Wow, seems like a rough time of it. I would love to have a BTA myself. At least they seem willing to excange for you, so that's good.

Since their corals were alot, and they wouldnt give me cash back, they decided to give me 64 bucks of fish credit instead. I bought a huge female percula clown for 30 bucks. Its about 2.5 inches. My small clowns seems to show off alot to her :P
