okay so im sticking with fw and i am wondering about african cichlids right now i have ca/sa cichlids but want to get african. Can u guys suggest any african setup for a 55 gallon not a begginer. Can u tell me what i need? what substrate? do i need crush coral?

It all depends on what fish you are getting. Are you gettting wild caught or LFS tank raised? the rest depends on what you like. I for one have changed the substrate of my tank plenty of times . Just make sure you do your research and then you will have an idea of what kind biotope you need to set-up.

well now im getting a 46 gallon bowfront and i want to keep yellow labs cause i see tht u can breed easily and usually lfs take fry. Any info please

some advice, if you want to make a little cash off your endevour, get a pair of N. Brichardi... I'm betting your lfs will be tripping over themselves for some fry, as they aren't easy to get....... i got a pair and i love them.
