Title: Plants Rejuvenating

FishyFry - July 26, 2006 12:55 AM (GMT)
Over the last few weeks, a few little pieces of duckweed have multiplied into a nice couple of areas, for some reason. There is a bit of Spatterdock, Watersprite, and some Hornwort too. These floaters work well with my Firemouth and Convict.

I have been letting my Java Moss grow out on the piece of driftwood in my Nano tank and the two little White Clouds seem to like it. Makes good cover.

Here are some pics of my community tank. The plants have been experiencing a growth spurt in this tank as well. They seem to follow a cycle where they fade some and then after a bit they rejuvenate and go into another growth spurt. I took a shot from one end of the tank and a full shot. I am particularly fond of the red Crypts.

This is one of my favorite Cryptocorynes, as well as the Sword Plant that was grown from an offshoot of a mother plant.

Thats a very nice planted tank, i accidently indroduced duckweed into my amazon tank a couple of months ago and i seem to be scooping and siphoning it out every week, just one little bit i miss grows rapidly with high light, CO2 and nutrient.
