:) I'm going to start out on the positive side on this one. They have a large assortment of different cichlids, as well as some other rarely seen fish (like jumbo danios, and several 1 foot plecos). All of their fish (except some of the feeders) appear to be healthy. They have a discount card where for every $17 you spend, you get a stamp, after 10 stamps you get a $20 in store credit. They also have cheap prices on their feeders, and they have a few filters that I havn't seen anywhere else.
:( On the downside, because they are an all inclusive pet store that deals mainly with other types of animals, they don't have a large selection of aquarium equipment, and their staff is not very knowlegable. The employee I spoke with didn't know the difference between guppies and endlers, and actually said "you can tell which ones are the male guppies because they are the colorful ones" while pointing to the endlers.

 On the downright disgusting side, I counted 3 different types of dyed fish. I asked to speak with the manager and was told she only comes in on Fridays, so I have not yet confronted them with this matter. The third photo is of one of their blueberry oscars. Had it not been for this, I would have rated them a good four stars.

I re-visited this store to pick up a few feeder goldfish for my neighbor's pond, and I thought I really needed to ammend this. I added another star because while I was in there, a couple of college girls were in there asking about goldfish for their dorm, the associate at the store explained to them that they really needed a lot more space than the bowl that the girls wanted to keep it in. So then the girls wanted to get a gourami, and again the associate pointed out that gourami's need a filter, etc. Then she suggested getting a betta instead, and the girls went for that. The associate then got them to get betta specific food, and a water conditioner to take the chlorine out.

I wish I had gotten the associate's name so that I could have given her the recognition she deserves. But if you're here reading this, YOU GO GIRL! :D All of our local fish stores could use more employees like that.
