Well, Keeping a hood on tight is wat I learned. My oscar jumped out of it once and was 1/3 dried up. It survived though :D So I learned to put weight on a hood if its light.

I've learned that bettas are extremely tolerant of mistakes :D And that a fish being dropped on your laptop is not good for the fish or thel laptop. I've also learned that cats and open fish bowls should not be combined, for the sake of the fish, the furniture, and the carpet.

Disclaimer: No fish were harmed in the above said incidents, just merely scared out of their small minds :)
