i was bored last night so i decided to make a list of fish and their saltwater counterparts. like whats the saltwater equivelant of the freshwater oscar?
heres the list, feel free to disagree and provid a more suitable fish if you think it works better. please give a short "why" statement with each one. lets see how many we can get!
Guppy-Damsel : they're both really the simplest amd definently the begginer fish on both sides
Convict-Maroon Clownfish : both are agressive and breed fairly easy
Ropefish-Blue Ribbon Eel : both long and slinder, and love sticking their heads out of crevices
Ghost Catfish-Purple Fire Goby : both tend to just hang out in the water column
Molly-Green Chromide : a little bit more compley than guppy/damsels but not to hard.
Clown Loach-Saltwater Catfish : cute, playful, and grow extrememly large
Discus-Moorish Idol : only kept by experts and demand a high price.
Angelfish-Batfish : both tall and eloquent (sp?)
Corycat-Scooter Blenny : both hang out on the bottom and eat extras
Neon Tetra-Pajama Cardinal : both are kinda twitchy and hang out with eachother.
Oscar-Panther Grouper: both get over the 12'' mark and eat small fish.
I would add some more if I knew a bit more about saltwater fish.
